Matjames Metson featured in LA Times today

Why is the Times reporting on a show that I would have liked to attend...when it's over.  Matjames Metson is an assemblage artist in the tradition of tramp art to Joseph Cornell.  He was displaced by Hurricane Katrina and has spent several years rebuilding his life with the detritus of Katrina.  Visit his web site www.matjames.com and google him to see the Huffington Post's write-up on him.  I'll be posting some of his work on my Pinterest "assemblage and collage" board.  Check them out.
