My mother

Here is my mother, Helen Hamilton Bennett, on her wedding day, April 19, 1948.  She and my father had just eloped to New Hampshire from Massachusetts, and 10 months later, she was a mother at 20 years old.  I didn't get the dark hair, my sister did, but I did get her legs and her love of art.  Happy Mother's Day, it's been 64 years since you welcomed me into the world.
