Fortunately the rubber stamp convention was taking place at the same time and location as one of the regional art shows and Paula Best had a booth right across the street from us. We were able to spend some time with Paula and Teresa Saturday night, having dinner and reminiscing about the old days of stamp conventions. Paula is concentrating on her artwork and has a line of beautiful cards that will be featured in many gift stores; I bought 6 cards and one of her prints. My "studio/spare room" is lined with Paula's artwork and I picked up another to squeeze in somewhere. Her colors and choice of sentiments (and the occasional crow) are so appealing and reassuring. I try to add another print to my collection every time I see her. I do miss her rubber stamps but many of them were based on her artwork, so I can look at them every day.
