Last Stampaway for Carmen's is bittersweet.

We just returned home from Ohio where we participated in our 20th and last Stampaway.  Wonderful to see old friends and new and say good-bye in person to all the customers who have supported us for all these years.  20 years is a good run...Stampaway is always the best show in the country;

 best organized, best selection of vendors, best results.  Had a little more breathing room this year since we did not do classes so we spent more time with Chris Meador (formerly Coffee Break) and visited our favorite thrift stores in Indianapolis and antique malls in Ohio.  Doing fewer shows on the road in 2013 and will dedicate myself to improving my web site with the goal of selling Carmen's Veranda in the near future.  Thanks again to all the friends we've made over the years in Ohio and environs; we'll  miss you but will see you on Facebook and Pinterest and hope that you'll continue to follow the adventures of Carmen.

Check out the babes in front of Coffee Break Design's booth at the Friday night event...the theme was Prom Night.  Mary Jo decided to be the "chaperone" in her conservative black gown and I finally had a chance to wear the fox furs my mother bought me as a joke years ago.
